Beech Ave Park is located on the north side of Beech Ave between Highland Ave and Aaron Griffin Way. The 5-acre site owned by the City of Niagara Falls, was previously the location of an industrial facility and is a Superfund Site (which is a program that ensures the proper clean-up of sites with suspected environmental constraints). According to the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYSDEC), this Superfund Site has undergone full environmental remediation, making it suitable and safe to be used as a park.

The purpose of this project is to engage the community within the Highland Beech Neighborhood and the City of Niagara Falls to identify a vision for the park. A master plan will be developed
identifying park amenities which will aim to fill potential gaps in recreational amenities within the community. The master plan will help the City of Niagara Falls in identifying and obtaining construction funding for the project.

The future construction of Beech Ave Park improvements are expected to be completed in multiple phases as funding becomes available. The project team will work with the community to determine what improvements should be included in the initial phases of park construction.
